God's truth is what sets us apart from the world. And we are set apart by God (in answer to Jesus' prayer!) incorporating His word into our lives.
Anything else is false. Those who build their life on a false foundation, anything but the truth, has a foundation that will fail. The truth is what sets us apart (sanctifies us).
