Joshua's goal in this discourse was to make sure they continued, and their seed after them, in the faith and worship of the true God. He wanted them to continue and finish strong. Joshua did. Paul did (2 Tim 4:7-8). What steps can a person take to finish strong. Will you finish strong? What steps are you taking to finish strong?
2 Timothy is Paul's parting words, his final comments. This is a great study, for it conveys the culmination of his learning and thought and relationship with God, his words of what he determined was most important. E.g. 2 Tim 2:22.
