It is amazing to see Mary's grasp of significant theological principles. We see here her repeated use of the terminology and theology of the Old Testament.
There's a distinct parallel with the praise of Hannah in 1 Samuel 2.
How could a simple peasant girl be so knowledgeable in the Scriptures? She most likely was taught that by her family. What does this say about what we should be doing with our own children?
We see throughout this Mary's godly perspective, that it's all about Him, and not about her.
This is a great example of how we can worship God.
First, she recognized her need for a savior, The Savior.
