Luke 14:33

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

More (vss 26-35) on our commitment to Jesus. In counting the cost (vss 28-32), consider that you must forsake all else as top priority - Jesus must be there. Jesus says you cannot be His disciple, his follower, unless He is preeminent in your life. How often does He get second best or second place from you?
