Naaman was not only a foreigner, but also an enemy of Israel. The reason -- none beside Naaman had the faith to seek the prophet for a cure.
Christ often met with greater faith among Gentiles than among the Jews.
Christ performed miracles solely because of faith, never because of heritage, stature, wealth, etc. Yet that is what people expected.
