Luke 4:3

Luke 4:3 - Additional Comments

When the devil said "If you are the Son of God", he wasn't questioning who Jesus was. He was effectively daring Jesus, asking Him to prove who He was. Be careful when someone flatters and beefs you up -- don't allow that to disuade you from what God asks. Note that Jesus later multiplied the fish and loaves, creating food. He did show He was the Son of God, but only to glorify God.
