Luke 4:30 - Additional Comments

How did this actually take place? Was there so much confusion they didn't see Him leave? Or did He blind them to who He was, and the 2 on the road to Emmaus? Or did He just restrict their movements so He could leave?
What power Jesus had! Men were certainly not in control of Jesus' destiny. No one had power over Jesus unless it was granted him (John 19:10-11). Odd that Jesus let them carry Him out of the city -- maybe to reveal how powerful and in control He was. And they said expected Him not to perform any miracles there!
Note that people can reject Christ, but they cannot derail God's plans. How many people have tried over the centuries! (And how many people are trying today!)
