Mark 12:28 - Additional Comments

I think this was the first honest question coming from the Jewish leadership. It was a great question, and all of life was summed up in His answer - love God and love people... and do what follows as a result of that. If you can remember nothing else in Christianity except these 2 things, you will have covered practically everything - for what is not covered in this?
What an opportunity these people had - they were able to ask Jesus anything. What would you ask Him?
(In a way we can, as we are told, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." - James 1:5)
