Matthew 17:9

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

Matthew 17:9 - Additional Comments

If people had to opportunity to see Jesus in His glorified state, I expect they would be much more drawn to Him, and much more ready to accept Him as the Messiah. Even possibly the Pharisees. But Jesus did not want followers to follow with this kind of faith - how much faith would it really be? What is the definition of faith? Hebrews 11:1 - faith is the evidence of things not seen.
