Matthew 23:18

And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.

Translations

You say too, Whoever swears by the altar is not duty bound; but whoever swears by the offering on the altar, his oath is binding.

And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it, he is a debtor.

And, Whoever takes an oath by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever takes an oath by the offering which is on it, he is responsible.

And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it is a debtor.

And you say, "If anyone swears by the altar, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gift that is on the altar, he is bound by his oath."

También decìs: "No es nada el que alguno jure por el altar; pero el que jura por la ofrenda que está sobre él, contrae obligaciòn."

~"And, `Whoever swears by the altar, {that} is nothing, but whoever swears by the offering on it, he is obligated.'

~"También ustedes dicen: 'No es nada si alguien jura por el altar; pero el que jura por la ofrenda que está sobre él, contrae obligaciòn.'

`Whoever will swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever will swear by the gift that is on it, he is a debtor.`

`And, whoever may swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever may swear by the gift that is upon it -- is debtor!
