Nehemiah 8:7 - Additional Comments

Wow. These men went throughout the crowd helping them to understand what was being read (see also vs 8). What were the results? Vs 12 - the people left there understanding the words that were read to them.
I marvel that all these men had this depth of understanding, even though the word had not been publicly read for some time.
All of us are called to be able to explain the word to others. See 2 Tim 2:2, 2 Tim 2:25, Matt 13:52, Heb 5:14.
