Proverbs 11:19

As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

Translations

He who is steadfast in righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) attains to life, but he who pursues evil does it to his own death.

He that is stedfast in righteousness shall attain unto life; And he that pursueth evil doeth it to his own death.

So righteousness gives life; but he who goes after evil gets death for himself.

As righteousness [tendeth] to life, so he that pursueth evil [doeth it] to his own death.

Whoever is steadfast in righteousness will live, but he who pursues evil will die.

El que persiste en la justicia alcanzará la vida,
y el que va en pos del mal, su propia muerte.

Take your stand with God’s loyal community and live,
or chase after phantoms of evil and die.

He who is steadfast in righteousness {will attain} to life, And he who pursues evil {will bring about} his own death.

El que persiste en la justicia alcanzará la vida,
Y el que va en pos del mal, su propia muerte.

He who is truly righteous gets life. He who pursues evil gets death.

Rightly [is] righteousness for life, And whoso is pursuing evil -- for his own death.
