Proverbs 28:19

He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

Translations

He who cultivates his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless people {and} pursuits will have poverty enough.

He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread; But he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

By ploughing his land a man will have bread in full measure; but he who goes after good-for-nothing persons will be poor enough.

He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread; but he that followeth the worthless shall have poverty enough.

Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty.

He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

El que labra su tierra se saciará de pan,
pero el que sigue propòsitos vanos se llenará de pobreza.

Work your garden—you’ll end up with plenty of food;
play and party—you’ll end up with an empty plate.

He who tills his land will have plenty of food, But he who follows empty {pursuits} will have poverty in plenty.

El que labra su tierra se saciará de pan,
Pero el que sigue propòsitos vanos se llenará de pobreza.

One who works his land will have an abundance of food; But one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.

Whoso is tilling his ground is satisfied [with] bread, And whoso is pursuing vanity, Is filled [with] poverty.
