So far in this chapter we have been warned about going with an immoral woman. Here (vss 15-20) we are told to stay each with our own wife.
The pleasures of marriage (regardless of those who ridicule us for it) far transcends all the false forbidden pleasures of other women.
Water gives nourishment, energy, health, life, so it is a great comparison to how we are to enjoy our wife. Yes, there are streams of water in the streets abroad (vs 16), but they are bitter waters (vs 4). Only draw from the fountains, the well, the cistern of your wife. This will blesss her (vs 18), and you will hav fun with her.
In place of drawing from another's well, we are always to draw from our wife's well (vs 19). In fact, we are to be consumed ("enraptured") by her love!
