In the former temple in Jerusalem, only priests could enter into the sanctuary, and the High Priest into the Holy of Holies, and that on one day a year.
Contrary to the long history of temples in Israel, there will be no temple in the New Jerusalem. It means there will be free access to God; it will be for all. We will have immediate and continuous access, without barrier.
