Revelation 5:6 - The Message

So I looked, and there, surrounded by Throne, Animals, and Elders, was a Lamb, slaughtered but standing tall. Seven horns he had, and seven eyes, the Seven Spirits of God sent into all the earth. He came to the One Seated on the Throne and took the scroll from his right hand. The moment he took the scroll, the Four Animals and Twenty-four Elders fell down and worshiped the Lamb. Each had a harp and each had a bowl, a gold bowl filled with incense, the prayers of God’s holy people. And they sang a new song:

Worthy! Take the scroll, open its seals.
Slain! Paying in blood, you bought men and women,
Bought them back from all over the earth,
   Bought them back for God.
Then you made them a Kingdom, Priests for our God,
Priest-kings to rule over the earth.

Revelation 5:6 - Additional Comments

When John looked, he saw the throne surrounded by the four living creatures and twenty four elders. In the middle stood a little Lamb which looked as if it had been recently slain. The scars from its slaughter are still clearly visible, but it is standing, it is alive.
Seven horns (Omnipotence) - horns in Scripture symbolize power. In the animal kingdom they used the horn to exert power and inflict wounds. Seven represents complete and perfect power. Unlike other defenseless lambs, this Lamb has complete and sovereign power.
Seven eyes (Omniscience).
His possession of the seven Spirits of God reminds us that the Lord Jesus was endued with the full measure of the Holy Spirit (John 3:34). The seven Spirits suggest Omnipresence.
Lamb - God required the Jews to bring the Passover lamb into their houses for four days, essentially making it a pet, before it was to be violently slain. Jesus is the true Passover Lamb.
