Romans 1:5 - Additional Comments
What was the life of an apostle? Nomads, outcasts, trials at every turn, beatings, eventual martyrdom ut, Paul considers it a blessing, and honor. Would you have wanted to be an apostle? Do you want to be a servant? God has given each of us this responsibility, but are we willing to take it?
Mark 10:43p "But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant;
Mark 10:44 and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all.
Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
What is this saying? True greatness with God is to be a servant of all. God wants us all to be servants to others.
