There are several kinds of peace, including:
- world peace (which we will never have on this earth because of the condition of man's heart)
- inner peace (John 14:27, Phil 4:6-7) (so many try to obtain it through so many different ways, and here is the answer!)
Without justification, we are at enmity with God - verse 10, Col 1:21-22, Rom 8:7, Eph 2:15-16, James 4:4.
With justification, we are at peace with God - the war is over.
Our justification is only through Jesus Christ.
