Romans 8:15 - The Message

This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What’s next, Papa?" God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!

Romans 8:15 - New American Standard Bible

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!"

Romans 8:15 - Nueva Biblia Latinoamericana de Hoy

Pues ustedes no han recibido un espìritu de esclavitud para volver otra vez al temor, sino que han recibido un espìritu de adopciòn como hijos, por el cual clamamos: "¡Abba, Padre!"

Romans 8:15 - Additional Comments

"Abba, Father" - Abba is a term of affection given to a father, of which we don't have an equivalent in English, but it shows great affection, and followed by "Father", it is a way of showing great affection to God as our Father. Some have translated it as "Daddy,", but that is not a correction translation, as it is a term of affection, a type of verb, rather than a noun for the father.
