Romans 8:38 - Additional Comments
How strong and extensive is God's love for us? What are the circumstances that might hinder His love for us?
Death won't diminish it. His love for us is the same on the earth as it is in heaven. In fact in heaven, we will be perfectly obedient!
Life won't diminish it.. Despite our failures in this life, His love for us won't fail.
Angels can't diminish it. They can't affect it.
Principalities and powers can't diminish it. They have no power over it.
Things present and things to come can't diminish it. Nothing of this earth (now or in the future) can affect it.
Us at any place (height or depth) won't diminish it. There is no place we can go that would lesson God's love.
Any created thing can't diminish it. Nothing in the entire creation can hinder God's love. That also means that we can do nothing ourselves to hinder Gods' love for us.
But this also means when we doubt God, and feel removed from Him, it is we who haved moved away, not God. He is always waiting, always ready to be close to us.
