Genesis 3:3 - Additional Comments
We don't know if God told her this directly, as He did Adam (2:17), or if she got this information from Adam. If so, this would have made it easier for Satan to prey on her.
She adds the condition of touch, which in reality if you are that close you have already given in -- similar to other temptations. We should see these things as having a great fence about them, and not to cross that fence line.
