Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Scribe is equivalent to lawyer, or one who writes the law. How feeble are the attempts of the wise of this world next to God's wisdom. It is so great having His wisdom available to us, who are so weak in our understanding of all that is.
