This wisdom is a mystery to non-believers. Note that God set this wisdom in place before the universe was created. It was promised before time began (Titus 1:2). And the reason for this wisdom - for our glory! Wow! We are extreme value to God, not just part of the mass of existence, and the world may tell you. This value God has for you - do you really know and understand it and grasp it? God set the universe in place as it is for our glory!
It God planned for us like this, if He cares for us know as the children He'd been planning for since before the ages, we can know that He will take care of us (how much more than He does for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field - Matt 6:24-34).
This mystery remained a mystery for ages, until Jesus arrived (Rom 16:25-26).
