Jesus was chosen before the creation of the world (1 Peter 1:20). Yet if God had revealed the mystery earlier, they may not have crucified Jesus. All in God's perfect timing (Gal 4:4-5). It is the same with the end of time - we can't know now all the reasons why the timing is unknown - it is a mystery to us.
