1 Corinthians 5:1

It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

In a way it is inspiring to see the problems the church in Corinth had, as it helps us to not feel alone whenever any problems arise in our church.
But it is also discouraging, that *inside* the church, we find those who, apparently were attending regularly, and yet living in such abhorant sin. Notice the letter was not written to the person with the sin, but to the church who has to deal with this person.
