1 Corinthians 7:10 - Additional Comments

This is a command from God - do not leave your husband. The only exceptions allowed are for abuse and infidelity (Matthew 19:3-9). Even in those cases, God prefers you work it out, i.e. the optimal path, the preferred path, is to work it out. We have known marriages with abuse, and marriages with infidelity, where there was repentance, and the relationship was healed and restored. If there is no repentance, and there is continued abuse or infidelity, the marriage cannot continue.
But, God wants those in troubled marriages to work it out. That is what God wants. He will bless any efforts to work it out.
Are there any marriages (not including continued abuse or infidelity) that cannot work? It takes humility on both sides. With effort, it can work, otherwise God would not expect it.
