Do you recall what it felt like when you were dating the person you married? As you considered marriage, you probably went over in your mind many times the reasons to get married. I bet sex was part of that decision.
This is interesting. Paul is giving a reason to get married - to avoid burning with passion. He straightforward admits this is a reason, and it is a valid reason for getting married.
