These are the things that should mark a true believer. You should be increasing in these! (2 Pet 1:8, 2 Th 1:3, 2 Cor 3:18, Rom 6:19)
- In newness of life - Rom. 6:4 - life of a new quality; to behave himself consistently in contrast to his former manner of life.
- In honesty - Rom 13:13 - in workplace, money, everyday life
- In faith - 2 Cor 5:7 - walk by faith, not sight (Heb. 11:6)
- In good works - Eph. 2:10 - created by God; occupied with good works
- In wisdom - Col. 4:5; Psa 111:10 A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. Ps. 119:9,11 (has your knowledge of God's Word increased)
- In truth - Prov 30:8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
- In His commandments and Love - 2 John 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
