1 Peter 3:2 - Additional Comments

As difficult as it was being a Christian in the first century church, I can imagine it would be difficult for a wife to be a Christian when the husband was not. It probably made a big difference whether the husband was Jewish, Roman (with their gods), pagan, etc. It may not have been allowed or appropriate for the wife to try to persuade her husband in Christianity, so all she could do was to reveal Christ by her witness and behavior. One can't escape the witness of a godly life lived for Christ each day. If your spouse were not a Christian, would your character draw them to Him?
