1 Samuel 17:40 - Additional Comments
David was confident in God, but he trusted God to use him, not just let God do all the work. We need to be involved in God's work. We need to see how He wants to use us. God wants us to be the instrument of His work. Note David did not know God was planning to use him when he arrived at the war, but his heart was always prepared to follow when God called.
