2 Peter 2:4 - Additional Comments

God will not spare any based on their position or excellency, for even the angels were cast down.
Note that sin often arises from selfishness, from wanting the best, the grandest, but what they wind up with is the lowest, is being thrown down. "The first shall be last" (Matt 20:16).
There is a place (hell) that is reserved for all who are against God, including the angels. This place is a place of utter darkness -- they are chained to this darkness -- they cannot escape it.
The last degree of punishment is reserved for the judgment day.
