Everyone knows it - we have sinned, and we are guilty. It is through Jesus we have forgiveness of our guilt (Eph 1:7). God, the judge, is ready to send us to our sentence, yet someone steps in, and pays the price for us (1 Cor 6:20). But only if we accept his payment, through faith, repentance, and confession (Eph 2:8-9, 2 Pet 3:9, Rom 10:9-10, Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9, John 5:24).
Note that we should acknowledge our sin before it is exposed. It is easy to acknowledge it once it is exposed!
