Notice how those in the antichrist's kingdom are described, as ones who did not "receive the love of the truth" (the correct translation). The Greek word for "receive" can also be "accept" or "take". They did not accept the love of the truth that was shown or offered to them.
We are saved by accepting what is true. And what is true? Salvation is only through Jesus. See notes on John 14:6.
