2 Thessalonians 2:11 - Additional Comments

(verses 11-12) God will punish men for their dislike of the truth (vs 10) and their love of wickedness (vs 12).
God sends them a strong delusion? This is really a withdrawal of His grace. God is not the author of sin, but in righteousness he sometimes withdraws his grace from such sinners when they hate the truth; he gives them over to Satan, or leaves them to be deluded by their own sinful heart - He gives them up to their own lusts, and left to themselves, their sin will follow its own course, that of wickedness that ends in eternal damnation.
God is just when he inflicts spiritual judgments and eternal punishment on those who have no love to the truth of the gospel.
