Why is Peter blaming those listening? The thousands here were Jews from all over the known earth, who may have travelled to Jersualem at Passover as they had for Pentecost, and may have been some of those who cried "Barabbas!", sending Jesus to His death (Matt 27:21). He also condemns them in verse 36.
