But when Paul had appealed to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.

Acts 25:21 - Additional Comments

"Augustus" was a title, meaning the Emperor.
Nero was the Caesar from 54 - 68 AD, so this would have been during his reign.
