In light of all this, heres what I want you to do. While Im locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. Paul reiterates his position as a prisoner in Rome (see notes on vs 3:1). Paul's bold declaration of his state shows his acceptance of his circumstances.
Walk indicates daily, all the time, as you go. You are always to live in a manner worthy of your position in Christ. Christ is our life, our source of strength, the one who sustains us in all things (Phil 1:21).
We are to walk as Jesus walked (1 John 2:6).
