Ephesians 5:24

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Note that in the same thought asking wife to be subject to their husbands, the next verse says husbands are to love their wives. Proper submission only can come when there is proper love from the husband to the wife. See the notes on vs 25.
