Stiff-necked? Completely! After all God has regularly been doing for them, they so quickly abandoned Him. Oddly, we are never to worship God as we want to, but as He wants us to.
John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
(What does stiff-necked mean? It is so much pride that it cannot listen to reason or the truth and make changes to what is right or appropriate.)
