Galatians 2:17
King James Version (KJV)
But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
Translations
Galatians 2:17 - Amplified Bible
But if, in our desire {and} endeavor to be justified in Christ [to be declared righteous and put in right standing with God wholly and solely through Christ], we have shown ourselves sinners also {and} convicted of sin, does that make Christ a minister (a party and contributor) to our sin? Banish the thought! [Of course not!]

Galatians 2:17 - The Message
Have some of you noticed that we are not yet perfect? (No great surprise, right?) And are you ready to make the accusation that since people like me, who go through Christ in order to get things right with God, arent perfectly virtuous, Christ must therefore be an accessory to sin? The accusation is frivolous. If I was "trying to be good," I would be rebuilding the same old barn that I tore down. I would be acting as a charlatan.
Galatians 2:17 - New American Standard Bible
~"But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? May it never be!
Galatians 2:17 - Nueva Biblia Latinoamericana de Hoy

Galatians 2:17 - Young's Living Translation
And if, seeking to be declared righteous in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, [is] then Christ a ministrant of sin? let it not be!
Galatians 2:17 - Additional Comments
While we are justified by faith, we need to be careful not to think for a moment that sin is acceptable, that works can be ignored.
The Jews argued that if salvation is by faith, and not by works, then Christians can live sinful lives, that faith in Christ actually promotes sin. Paul answers that here.
