Genesis 12:3

Genesis 12:3 - Additional Comments

Not only did God promise to Abram that he would become a great nation, but God also shows what would happen to anyone who interacted with that nation. This might imply that those nations that feud with Israel, like the other Middle eastern nations, are under a curse from God.
God clearly states here that the blessing from Abraham (meaning Jesus) is for all peoples, all families, every person. We can be confident that we are included in God's covenant for blessing.
