Genesis 39:22 - Additional Comments

Like Potiphar, it became obvious that Joseph could be trusted. I expect this was because he saw no compromise in his actions.
If someone had leaked a false story about Joseph (like Potiphar's wife did), knowing Joseph's character and relationship with God, would you believe it?
How about you - is your character such that no one would believe a false story about you? We need to live with no compromise - so people will be more ready to question the accuser rather than you. If your wife heard a false story about you, what would she suspect? Trust is difficult to earn, and once broken, is extremely difficult to regain. Never violate your wife's trust in anything - females, money, your word, etc. Can she ask you "Is there anything inappropriate going on in your life?" where you can honestly answer "No"?
