Genesis 39:3 - Additional Comments

How did the master know it was the Lord? Joseph must have been making it very clear that it was because of his faith that he was successful in his work. Co-workers may know we are Christians, but we don't often give God the praise for our successes (unless we are in pro sports!). Part of the problem is we don't trust God, we don't regularly pray to God, to have success in our work. Our reviews focus on what we did, not on how God's been operating in our lives. We need to give our work to God daily, and watch what he does.
In your workplace, what do people see in you? Do you take supplies, do you grumble, do you take too many breaks, do you not give full effort? Of do they see you with integrity, honesty, a positive attitude, hard working? See Col 3:23-24.
