Genesis 42:7 - Additional Comments

Joseph has travelled throughout Egypt (41:45-46). With all that travelling, isn't it odd that Joseph never made it back to Canaan to visit his family? He had been gone from them for about 20 years. Maybe as they considered him dead and gone, he felt similar about his family. Maybe he felt because of their hatred towards him, he had no reason to go back home.
