Notice our position with God. Yes, he chastens us, but it after He has received us and loved us. A child may rebel against a parent's correction, but the parent does it in love. We may not like God's chastening, but it is for our best, for it is done with His love for us. During rough times, we can relax and know God is in control and anything He allows or brings is out of a deep love and care for us.
