Hosea 4:7 - Additional Comments
Do they glory in wealth? That will be turned into shame. Do they glory in their numbers? That will be turned to shame. Do they glory in their skills? That will be turned to shame. You need to realize once again (see vs 3) that sin affects everything around you, even the things in your life you can be proud of. If you leave sin unchecked, your glory will be turned to shame.
As vs 9 says, you will pay the consequence for your actions, either reward or punishment.
