Hosea 5:10 - Additional Comments

What is the purpose of a landmark (i.e boundary)? To give guidance and direction, to show measured points in the land. Without them, who knows what is where?
The princes of Judah are like they. The set boundaries and give direction to the people. They have not only let the people flounder but directed them in the wrong direction. God will hold them particularly accountable, as He does with all leaders, including the leaders of the family. Leaders have larger responsibilities, and therefore higher expectations from God.
