James 3:9 - Additional Comments

You are master of the unspoken word, but you have no control over the spoken word, for it is already on its way to do its work.
The spoken word is like a bird released outdoors - you cannot bring it back. The wrong word is like a broken pot - it's hard to repair it like it was before the words were said. Words are like a knife, piercing deep into the soul. Words, both good and bad, may be remembered forever.
