God makes it clear that if He asks us to do something, He is not just sending us out on our own to try to make it - He is WITH us. He's not just telling us where to go, and giving us advice - He is travelling with us, and taking care of us along the way.
Compare to a blindfolded boy who has to navigate through a bunch of mouse traps, and the father, instead of telling him where to step, actually travels with him, guiding him where to step.
