Jeremiah 17:9 - Additional Comments

This verse is quoted very often by Christians, because it directly gives a strong and terrifible picture of what our heart is truly like without God's influence on it.
And who can know it? The sad thing is how often we deceive even ourselves. May we see our heart as God sees it - may we see our sins as God does, and not ignore them, hide them dismiss them as insignificant. Pray and ask God to know our own heart as He knows our heart.
